One of the biggest questions that Atheists and Agnostics have is, “Why would a loving God (fill in the blank)?”
Let me start my answer by giving a little illustration.
Why on earth, would a car company put out a vehicle like this?

The logical answer to that question is that the car maker didn’t send out a vehicle in that condition. The car they sold actually looked like this:

The car in the first photo is the result of the driver’s actions. That much is obvious to us.
So why isn’t it obvious to an unbeliever that the world with all of its suffering and decay aren’t what God created?
The world God made was perfect. There was no death, no suffering, no hunger. It was truly Paradise. So what happened? You’ll find the answer in the book of Genesis. When God gave the world and everything in it to Adam
And the LORD God commanded the man, saying, “Of every tree of the garden you may freely eat; but of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat, for in the day that you eat of it you shall surely die.”
NKJV
The serpent enticed Eve, telling her that God hadn’t told her the truth, telling her she would not surely die. She ate the fruit, giving some also to Adam, and they both rebelled against the God who had made them and given them Paradise.
Make no mistake, they indeed died that day. They didn’t fall to the ground and stop breathing, but they did cut themselves off from Life. And just like the rose that is cut from the rosebush, and remains beautiful for a time, it is dead. So it was with our first parents.
Instead of passing on an inheritance of Paradise, our first parents bequeathed to us Death and suffering. The fault is ours, not God’s.
